All students who have published papers on the theory and applications of metamaterials in prestigious international journals during 2020 and 2021 are eligible to participate in the Student Paper Contest (SPC).
General Information
1. The submission must be electromagnetic metamaterial-related journal papers accepted / published from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021. The papers must NOT have been submitted to the SPC at Mar-For 2021 previously. There will be two tracks: Theory and Application, and only ONE track is allowed to be chosen for each submission.
2. The student must be the first author of the paper and a full-time student at the time of submission for the publication.
3. Only ONE submission per student is allowed. The deadline for submission is 14 February 2022, Singapore Standard Time (SST). Kindly submit a softcopy of the paper and the completed application form to Dr. Xinyi TANG at tang_xinyi@i2r.a-star.edu.sg with the email subject of “Marina Forum SPC - Your Name”.
4. The Award Committee will select the finalists. The finalists will be requested to make a virtual presentation on their work during the Forum.
5. The winners will be decided based on the quality of both the paper and presentation.
6. Each winner of the Student Paper Contest will be issued a certificate and monetary award. The cash prize is up to USD 600!
